ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET, HUH?
The secret is out! If you’re in the mood for some Asian food but want a healthy version, then this recipe is the one! You can whip up this recipe in 20 minutes or less. That’s faster than ordering pizza or Chinese take-out.
You can basically make this stir-fry with anything. Use any protein or veggies of your preference and voila! You’ve become the Iron Chef! It will look and taste better than any Asian restaurant you’ve been to. Only make this dish for people you like, otherwise you’ll have annoying co-workers asking you to make more.
1 lb cooked chicken sausage links, sliced
1/2 broccoli floret, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
Carrots, shredded, handful
1/2 green bell peppers, chopped
1/2 yellow bell peppers, chopped
1/2 red bell peppers, chopped
Green onions, diced
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Block 2 or 3 from the Body Fuel book:
Add any rice to make 4 servings based on your meal block
Block 2 and 3: cook rice according to direction on package. Then divide into 4 storage containers.
Heat pan on med-high heat. Add oil and garlic. Cook until brown then add onions and sausages. Cook for a minute then add all veggies except the green onions. Next, add the oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until broccoli is tender then divide into 4 storage containers and top with green onions.
If you’re on block 2 or 3, place chicken sausage mixture on top of rice and store in refrigerator and serve according to your meal schedule.
