A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO COFFEE.
Always make homemade juice and drink it fresh. That way it contains more vitamins and minerals. Store-bought juice sits on the shelf for weeks, often contains artificial flavours, additives, preservatives, that are added to extend their shell life and contain little to no nutritional benefit, and as much sugar as soda. If you make juice have a ratio of 3:1 – 3 vegetables to one piece of fruit. Try a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. It’s a great snack in between. Here is one option for a green juice:
2 green apples
1 cup spinach, packed
1 inch ginger root
2 kale leaves
1 scoop plant based protein
½ tablespoon liquid coconut oil
Add all ingredients to juicer, except the coconut oil. Once juiced, add coconut oil and mix well and serve.
