The young men that grew up on farms were typically my strongest and best prepared trainees in the military.
With that said, the Farmer’s Carry is an exceptional exercise that I often add to the end of my workouts to improve full body strength, endurance, and joint alignment.
For you Strong and Lean readers, this is yet another example of locomotion in practice, which has tremendous carry over to real world demands.
Get creative and find something to carry back and forth. Switch between both hands and just one hand. Stand up tall and straight while keeping your toes and knees pointing straight ahead. Enjoy!
